Heather provides a holistic approach to mental health. She incorporates various treatment forms and theories, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, trauma-informed care, and shame resilience techniques. With a focus on strength building and empowerment, Heather supports her clients in developing resiliency, interpersonal and social connectedness, self-awareness, self-care, and a positive outlook on life.
Heather is particularly passionate about working with teens, adults, children, and women. Her commitment to providing a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their emotions, address their challenges, and embark on a path to healing is at the core of her practice. Heather's dedication to her clients' well-being and personal growth is evident in her approach to counseling, which focuses on acceptance, self-compassion, and helping individuals move forward in life, regardless of the circumstances they face.
In her free time, Heather likes to watch her kids play soccer and tumble, take care of her various pets, try new foods or restaurants with her husband, and volunteer at her kids’ school. She likes to listen to all kinds of music, travel to local or nearby festivals, reconnect with family and friends, host gatherings, watch documentaries, bake, daydream, light scented candles, and rest.
